This 1962 BMW R60/2 is said to have stayed with its original owner in Atlanta, Georgia until being purchased by owner and moved to Florida in 2017. The bike is powered with a 594cc boxer twin that was reportedly refurbished by Classic Cycles in Connecticut with brand new pistons, rebuilt cylinder heads and carburetors, and replacement exhaust pipes. The 4-speed transmission has been likewise serviced, and owner has added only 20 miles since completion of this job. This R60/2 comes with refurbishment receipts and a blank Florida name.

The bike is finished in black with white pinstripes, and also the seller reports a few scratches on the top of the 3.5-gallon fuel tank. Features include an Earles fork frontend with a drum brake, a Schorsch Meier narrow double chair, Hella bar-end twist signs, and chrome wire-spoke wheels.

The headlight casing comprises the ignition and head light switches as well as a reverse-sweep VDO speedometer that reads in kilometers per hour. Just over 30k kilometers (~19k miles) have been shown over the 5-digit odometer.

The air cooled 594cc boxer twin produced 30 horsepower in stock variant and is paired with a 4-speed transmission.  The mechanical refurbishment at Classic Cycles reportedly included fitment of new pistons and oil slingers as well as rebuilds of their cylinder heads and carburetors. The transmission has been serviced, the cases were re finished, and liquids were revived.
